This week we had the privilege of hearing from a guest speaker, Todd Powers. Todd is a missionary serving in Thailand, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Ukraine. His message this week was titled Power of a Transformed Heart. Gathering from his personal experience as a missionary, he encouraged us to rally together to get the gospel out to the world. "Our number one priority is to introduce people to the Jesus that changed our lives so they can experience the same freedom in their lives that we have in ours."
He said that hardheartedness is one of the biggest problems we face today. Inspired by the condition of this world, Todd strives to bring a message of hope in a world full of darkness, and that hope is Jesus. He urged us to go out into this world and transform it through the power of Jesus' name.
"And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart." (Ezekial 36:26)
