Have you ever thought that God might have a need? In this passionate message given by special guest speaker, Todd Powers, he asks and answers that question. Todd and his wife, Julie, are the founders of Empower International, an organization that conducts mission work in Thailand, Myanmar, Pakistan, and the United States. In this message titled Jesus' Mission and the Nehemiah Effect, Todd talks about the inspiring story of Nehemiah and highlights how it illustrates the extraordinary qualities of someone on a divine mission. He tells us that God needs us to embrace His heart for people, and to be His hands, feet, and voice. He points out that it takes the gracious Hand of God on us, to discover and fulfill our mission. We need to have a heart that's open and receptive to receive the passion that God has for people. It is Todd's hope that after watching this message it will ignite a fire in us to embrace a sense of urgency, be compelled to take action, and go make a difference.
