In verse 8, we see that by grace God came into our lives and rescued us. He delivered us from hell and into the family of God. Once saved, God is here to assist us in any situation that we face. Salvation is a product of faith, and we must recognize that Jesus did all the work for our salvation. It is salvation that produces good works, not the other way around.
