Pastor Josh continues his Overflow series with a message titled "Full of Zeal." In 1st Corinthians 14:1, Paul encourages the Corinthians to, "Follow the way of love and eagerly desire (with zeal) gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy." Pastor Josh points out that before you feel zeal for the gifts of the Spirit, you must first believe they exist. He presents the biblical reasons people use to support their belief in the cessation of spiritual gifts. Then he lists six reasons Paul provides for refuting the cessation of spiritual gifts. He tells us that spiritual gifts are necessary for the health of the body of Christ. Their purpose is to exalt Jesus and build His church.
