This message titled, "The Blessing of love," is part seven in Pastor Josh's series, "Overflow." In this message, Pastor Josh discusses the horizontal type of love - loving others. He tells us that the love of God is seen in how we love and treat others. Pastor Josh explains the meanings behind Jesus' commands to love others, found in Luke 6:27-38. He emphasized the point that our behavior and how we treat people should not be determined by how others treat us. What you do for others is not for what you get in return but for the act itself. The one determining factor in how we treat people is the character of God, and when we live in this manner, there is a promise of an overflow of blessings.
