"We want to live in the overflow, where everything we do comes from being filled with what God has given us." In this week's message titled, Depending on the Spirit's power, Pastor Josh delivers Part Three of his Overflow series. He mentions that the Spirit is the answer to all of humanity's problems and how it is the One who transforms us.
Pastor Josh goes on to explain that Christians have access to an unlimited power source (the Holy Spirit), but they live their lives without turning it on. The book of Acts demonstrates the power of the Spirit at work in the believers. Acts 1:8 - "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Pastor Josh points out that miraculous gifts are not just for apostles, a regular person who says yes to Jesus, can walk in signs and wonders.
